Description: The DocBlock "Tortoise Shell" series feature different color / shape forms having wide veins that resemble a turtle's shell. The seed parent (Brown '34') has an emergent leaf that evolves from red to brown. It has been pollinated by a recently named hybrid 'Purple Rain' ('27') recognized for it's purple to lavendar new emergent leaves. The hybrids should exhibit a cornucopia of colors between reds and purples!
