The long tear-drop dramatic emergent red leaf of 'Red Velvet Cake' (first released in 2023) was pollinated by a favorite vigorous DocBlock red crystallinum x magnificum velvet-leaf Anthurium form known as 'Home, Sweet Home' ('32').  These vigorous hybrids are still quite rare and in high demand.
